A good test of personal fortitude is when it's time to really start cutting on the body. It's always been
my philosophy that anyone can restore a car but it takes a "Real Man" to cut one up. The wheel tubs are standard
Summit Racing steel units. All seems were welded to eliminate the squeeks that can develop when using rivits. The kick up between the tubs provides clearance for the exhaust. Unless you intend to run the exhaust
out the sides or under the rear end (not recommended) the pipes have to have a place to go.
